What's new for 2021?
The maximum amount you can now contribute to either your Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) or Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LPFSA) is $2,750 ($2,700 in 2020).
The annual maximum contributions for a pre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA) is $3,600 ($3,550 in 2020) for individuals and $7,200 ($7,100 in 2020) for family coverage. An additional $1,000
in catch-up contribution is allowed for those age 55 or older.
All employees eligible for health care can also open a Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), which can be funded up to $5,000 per household.
