We know the convenience, safety, availability, and affordability of virtual healthcare is important to you and your family. That’s why we made telemedicine vendors available (like Teladoc) through our medical plan administrator’s partner(s). You have access to more telemedicine providers at the network discounted rate per visit, subject to Annual Deductible and coinsurance.

Plan Details


When should telemedicine services be used?
With telemedicine, you don’t have to drive to the doctor’s office or sit in a waiting room when you’re sick. You can see your doctor from the comfort of your home. Virtual visits can be easier to fit into your busy schedule.

Telemedicine may be useful for every day, non-emergency healthcare issues, including sinus infections, pink eye, sore throat, allergies, and much more.
 
Telemedicine should not be used for life-threatening emergencies.

How do you access telemedicine services?
 There are two ways to access these expanded telemedicine services:
  •  Through your medical plan administrator, using their preferred provider(s)
  •  Through an existing in-network physician. 

All of GE’s medical plan administrators offer access to at least one preferred telemedicine provider, such as Teladoc. To learn more about what’s available to you, simply log-on to your medical administrator’s web site and navigate to the section to find care, look up a provider or choose “virtual visits”. Your plan administrator’s website is listed on the back on your medical plan ID card. You can find additional details on the GE Health Care Hub app or by visiting gehealthcarehub.com.
